Mr. Restrepo has been involved with the planning, development, and management of over 500 scattered site housing units and 35,000 square feet of commercial space to increase the affordable housing stock in high cost markets. In his current role, he is responsible for business planning, community revitalization strategies, identifying sites, developing all concepts, overseeing program development, financial structuring, applications, negotiations with lenders, securing financial commitments and closing for acquisition, predevelopment, construction and permanent financing, overseeing site acquisitions, community and political buy-in, securing zoning and tax abatement approvals, developing marketing strategies, and processes for buyer intake, and overseeing two project managers and an assistant project manager that complete the construction and sales or lease up in a timely fashion by helping them troubleshoot site and financing issues. In the early stages of his career, Mr. Restrepo was once a community scholar and in 2016, served as the co-chair of the inaugural year of the Housing Scholars program. He returns to the Board of Directors after previously serving as Board President in 2015.
