Katie Brennan directs the affordable housing production, foreclosure prevention, fair housing, and lead-based paint hazard programs for Hudson County. Through this position, she works to ensure that all people have safe and healthy homes they can afford. Prior to her experience with the County, Ms. Brennan served as an Associate at Monarch Housing Associates where she worked to expand the supply, accessibility, and variety of affordable, permanent supportive housing across New Jersey. Before joining Monarch, she served as Management Associate at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency.
Ms. Brennan additionally serves as the Chapter Director of New Leaders Council New Jersey, the nation’s premier program for progressive young professionals, and strives to recruit, train, and promote the next generation of progressive leadership. She holds her Master of City and Regional Planning degree from the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. Ms. Brennan lives in Jersey City where she is an active member of the community and a cycling advocate on the board of Bike JC.
